Supporting each other through these times…
Business support from those who understand
Every business needs a helping hand or a friendly ear from time to time.
Tidworth & District Chamber of Commerce understand that help should be provided by those with the skill set you require or by those who have experience in the matter. We have therefore established Big Buddy Business to help each other. Members have the opportunity to become a buddy – either to receive help and advice, or to provide it.
Below is a list of our Mentors and Mentorees available. You can reach out to those you may feel you are best suited to help or receive help from.
All of our buddies also provide a very good listening ear; if you do not need a specialised skill set but need someone to talk to, all of our Mentors are happy to have a call and a catch up!
A seasoned businessman, Sean is an expert in the building trade and business skills. He can also be a friendly listener.
A master in HR and business development, Kristen’s skills are reflected by her extensive healthcare HR management experience.
Louise is a business law expert. With an expensive legal portfolio, Louise’s wealth of knowledge is extensive.
A compliance professional, Kayleigh can support processes and your online platform.
A recruitment professional, Megan can be a listening ear or a specialist in growing your team.
Experienced senior transport professional with over 14 years within the logistics sector.
A certified recruitment practitioner with over 13 years within the industry, across multiple industry sectors including commercial, technical, engineering, industrial and driving recruitment.
After a 25 year Army career, Allan now heads up Aspire Defence. He is keen to help any veteran or someone in the process of leaving the military. He has also developed HR, commercial, programme & risk management, experience during his leadership of a large business.
Coran possesses over 20 years’ experience in personal and business finance, leading teams of people to deliver world class service. Additionally, she has coaching qualifications and enjoys helping people over a coffee, to enable them to achieve their goals.
Now more than ever we must support and help each other to sustain and grow our businesses. We are now formally in a recession and I would urge any business that is struggling, to not be afraid to come forward. Support is available and often a problem shared is a problem halved. Remember to be kind to yourself and your business. Your well-being and mental health is vital to be able to work through these highly unprecedented and challenging times.
